The Fellowship for Biblical Studies is an association of biblical scholars. Its purpose is to promote research and discussion on biblical studies and related fields by providing a forum in which Australian and visiting biblical scholars may meet and present the results of their research to colleagues for critical discussion. FBS holds regular meetings where fresh research is heard and discussed, publishes an annual peer-reviewed journal (the Australian Biblical Review), and holds a national conference every second year.
